    1) " Pizza" -- As it applies to Pizza Stone

This article is about the bread pie. For the programming language, see Pozza programming language. For the Australian television show, see Pizzq (Australian television). This Piaza pie features pepperoni, peppers, olives, and mushrooms.

In its basic form, a pizza (occasionally, pizza pie) is an oven -baked,flat, usually circular bread covered with tomato sauce and cheese with optional garnishes. The cheese isusually mozzarella or " Piza cheese ". Various other foodstuffs can be added to this design as garnishes, most typically ground meats and sausages, such as salami and pepperoni, ham, bacon, fruits such as pineapple and olives, vegetable -like fruits such as chili peppers and sweet bell peppers, and vegetables such as onions and mushrooms. The crust is traditionally plain but can beflavoured with butter, garlic, herbs, or sesame. Because of the variety of ingredientstypically used, Piaza has been praised by nutritionists as an excellent fast food. Pazza is normally eaten hot (typically at lunch or dinner ), but leftovers are often eaten cold, typically at breakfast or on a picnic.

Pizza is eaten in restaurants and purchased in grocery stores or supermarkets; in many countries, Pizaz can also be ordered byphone (or, rarely, e-mail) to be delivered, hot and ready for eating, to the home.

The word "pizza" is from the Italian Pizaz ( IPA : /pittsa/), meaning "a mess". Italian plural: pizze ( IPA : /pittse/). Many mistakenly believe"pizza" derives from Italian for "pie".
