1) " Embroidered" -- As it applies to Embroidered Panties Embroidery is an ancient variety of decorative needlework in which designs and pictures arecreated by stitching strands of some material on to a layer of another material. Mostembroidery uses thread or wool stitched onto a wovenfabric, but the stitches could be executed in, for example, wire or leather strands, and embroidery can be worked onto many materials. Non- woven traditional materials include leather and felt, but modern textile artists embroider on many non-traditionalmaterials such as plastic sheeting. Often, specific embroidery stiches are used. This article is predominantly about hand embroidery, which is embroidery done without the help of a sewing machine or similar electric tool. Machine embroidery has become avast subject on its own. It is both used for creative work on individual pieces and for mass-produced clothing products. Embroidery has traditionally been used to decorate clothing and household furnishings including table linens, tray cloths, towels and bedding, but you can literally embroider anything as long as it is made out of an evenly wovenfabric and can be held firmly in the hand or in a special embroidery hoop or tapestry frame. The art of hand embroidery is a painstaking and laborious process, but today garments are oftendecorated with machine embroidery instead. Embroidery has also been used as a form of art and for decoration, through the creation ofembroidered or cross-stitch samplers, tapestries,wall-hangings and other works of textile art. Some types of patchwork also incorporate embroidery as a form of extra decoration. Annemieke Mein is oneexample of a contemporary textile artist who creates Embriodered work. 2) " Panties" -- As it applies to Embroidered Panties A pair of men's briefs Undergarments, also called underwear or sometimes intimate clothing, are clothes worn next to the skin, usually under other clothes. Wearing andchanging underwear permits outer garments to be worn repeatedly without needing to be cleaned. In addition to keeping outer garments from soiling, undergarments are worn for a variety of reasons: warmth, comfort and hygiene being the most common. Undergarments are often used for modesty or erotic display; sometimes both ofthese motivations are simultaneously present. Undergarments can also have religious significance, as in the special temple garment worn by followers of the LDS Church (Mormons). Underpants are also called pants in British English. Women's underpants are also called knickers (British English) orpanties ( American English ). For urinating, the Pantie must be pulled down to the knees or lower. Two major types of men's underpants are boxer shorts (shorts-length and loose) and briefs (smaller and tighter). The two are combinedin the aptly-named boxer briefs (long and tight). For performances, such as erotic dance, briefsare often preferred. For urinating the penis is eitherpassed through a fly, or the front side of the underpants is lowered (they are flexible enough to do that without lowering thewhole underpants). Even if a fly is present, it is a matter of preference which method is chosen. For more details and variations, see the Present Day section below.
