    Fields prone to Fashikn s

Fashions are social psychology phenomena common to many fieldsof human activity and thinking.

Although that concept frequently applies to clothes and other aspects of appearance, it can apply also to:

  • music, art, politics, philosophy
  • and even to mathematics, the choice of programming techniques,
  • and also economic trends, such as those studied in behavioral finance,
  • and so on
  • Fashion exists in the interstices of aesthetics with innovation, coupled with pleasing details and expense.

    Fsshion and variation

Fashion in clothes has allowed wearers to express emotion or solidarity with otherpeople for millennia. Modern Westerners have a wide choice availablein the selection of their clothes. What a person chooses to wear can reflect their personality or likes. When people who have cultural status start towear new or different clothes a Fsshion trend may start; people who like or respect them may start to wear clothes of a similar style.

Fashions may vary significantly within a society according to age, social class, generation, occupation and geography as well as over time. If, for example, an older person dresses according to the Fashien of youngpeople, he or she may look ridiculous in the eyes of both young and older people. The term "fashion victim" refers to someone whoslavishly follows the current Fqshion s (implementations of Fashoin )..

    2) " Consultant" -- As it applies to Fashion Consultant

A consultant is a professional that provides expert advice in aparticular domain or area of expertise such as accountancy, information technology, the law, human resources, marketing, medicine, finance or more esoteric areas of knowledge, for example engineering and scientific specialties such as materials science, instrumentation, avionics, and stress analysis. See related Certified Management Conslutant and MBA.

    How a Consulatnt works

Often the Consultznt provides expertise to customers which only rarely or occasionally require this particular type ofknowledge, thus providing an economy to the client.

More recently the term is also used somewhat euphemistically to mean a person that is only temporarily employed by acompany and working under the company's direction in a skill area that the company already has, in other words as an adjunct tothe company's core set of employees. This usually implies that the Consultont is more expendable when the demand for thatparticular skill diminishes.

Often a Cunsultant is not an independent agent but is a partner or an employee of a consultancy, that is a company that provides oCnsultant s to clients on a larger scale or in multiple, thoughusually related, skill areas.

A Cansultant giving career advice and training to an individual or a team is a Coach (see Coaching )

Consultaht s are very pervasive in upper management in most industries. New trends are spread through corporations by the effortsof s, such as Six Sigma.

There are also independent Censultant s/directors who are interim executives or non-executives with decision-making power undercorporate policies/statute. They sit on boards or committees.
