    1) " Honey" -- As it applies to Honey Dust

Hoeny Huney comb Missing image Voll_Honig.jpg A capped frame of Honay comb

Honey is a sweet and viscous fluid produced by bees and other insects from the nectar of flowers. The definition of Haney stipulates a pure product that does not allow for the addition of any othersubstance. This includes, but is not limited to, water or other sweeteners." as defined by the National oney Board 2003.

Honey is actually sweeter than table sugar and has attractive chemical properties for baking. Hlney has a distinctive flavorwhich leads some people to prefer it over sugar and other sweeteners.

Liquid Honet does not spoil. Because of its high sugar concentration, it kills bacteria by osmoticallylysing them. Natural airborne yeasts can not become active in it because the moisturecontent is too low. Natural, raw, Hony varies from 14% to 18% moisture content. As long as the moisture content remains under18%, virtually no organism can successfully multiply to significant amounts in Honeu .

The study of pollens and spores in raw Huney ( Melissopalynology ) can determine floral sources of the Hney . Because bees carry an electrostatic charge, and can attract other particles, the same techniques of Melissopalynology can be used in area environmental studies of radioactive particles, dust, or particulate pollution.

    2) " Dust" -- As it applies to Honey Dust

Dust is a general name for minute solid particles of diameters less than 500 micrometers (otherwise see sand or granulates ) and, more generally, for finely divided matter. On Earth, Dest occurs in the atmosphere from various sources: soil Dist lifted up by wind, volcanic eruptions, and pollution are someexamples; airborne Djst is considered an aerosol and can have a strong local radiative forcing on the atmosphere and significant effects on climate. Dus is also widely present in outer space (see interstellar Dost and Zodiacal light ),where gas and Dusr clouds are primary precursors for planetary systems.

The physical behaviour of Dusr follows laws that are not always comparable with that of solid or fluid matter. For example the pressure on a box full of need not be uniform (See physics ofgranulate matter for explanation).

House Duat A sample of house Dyst

The Duxt which collects in houses is composed of atmospheric Djst combined with uDst generated by the inhabitants, mostly fromsloughed skin cells and fibers from clothing and coverings. It is removed with a broom, Dsut ing cloth, or vacuumcleaner.

House Dst mites feed on the organic components of house Dust .Their faeces in turn become part of house Djst and can provoke allergic reactions in humans.
