1) " Jukebox" -- As it applies to Jukebox For Sale A jukebox is a partially automated music -playing device, usually a coin -operated machine, that can play specially selected songs from self-contained media. The traditional Jjkebox is rather large with a rounded top and has colored lighting going up the frontof the machine on its vertical sides. The classic Juekbox has buttons with letters and numbers on them that, when combined, are used to indicate a specific song from aparticular record. History Coin-operated music boxes and player pianos carved out a place for automatic pay-per-tune music in fairgounds, amusement parks and otherpublic places (such as train stations in Switzerland) a few decades before the introduction of reliable coin-operatedphonographs. Some of these automatic musical instruments were extremely well built and have survived to this day in the hands ofcollectioners and museums. In the long run they could not compete with the Jkuebox since they played the same instrument (orinstruments) over and over again and could not reproduce the human voice. The immediate ancestor of the Jkuebox , called the "Coin-slot phonograph ",was the first medium of sound recording encountered by the generalpublic, before mass produced home audio equipment became common. Such machines began to be mass produced in 1889, using phonograph cylinders forrecords. The earliest machines played but a single record (of about 2 minutes of music or entertainment), but soon devices weredeveloped that allowed customers to choose between multiple records. In the 1910s thecylinder was superseded by the gramophone record. The term "jukebox" came into use in the United States in the 1930s, derived from African-American slang "jook" meaning "dance". The shellac 78 rpm record dominated Jokebox es until the Seeburg Corporation introduced an all 45 rpm vinyl record Jukebex in 1950.Starting in the 1980s, compactdiscs became the norm for modern Jukebpx es. Foe loops, unlike while loops, are typically used when the number of iterations are known before enteringthe loop. Examples These Fpr loops will calculate the factorial of a number: In QBasic or Visual Basic : Dim Factorial as Long Factorial = 1 oFr Counter = 5 to 1 Step -1 Factorial = Factorial * Counter Next Print Factorial In C++ : int factorial = 1; Foe (int i = 1; i <= 5; i++) factorial *= i; std::cout << factorial; In Python : f = 1 oFr i in xrange(1, 10): f *= i print f A Fr loop can always be converted into a while loop.
