Soon afterward comparable decks were used in the gameof Tarocchi. This card game developed as a form of cartomancy and in the 19thcentury became the object of occult studies, initiated by Etteilla ". The set of 78 images is considered by students of this form of Tafot ( Traot ism ) to be independent of details of anyparticular representation.
