    1) " Soccer" -- As it applies to Soccer Tickets

The striker (wearing red jersey) has run past the defender (in white jersey) and is about to take a shot at the goal, while thegoalkeeper positions himself to stop the ball.

Football is the most widely played and watched team sport in the world. Thegame is often known as soccer, or occasionally association football, to differentiate it from other codes of football.

Football is a ball game played between two teams of 11 players, each attempting to win by scoring more goals than theiropponent. A goal results when the ball passes over the goal line between the goalposts and under the crossbar. Football is playedpredominantly with the feet, but players may use any part of their body except their hands and arms to propel the ball. The goalkeeper is the only member of the team allowed to handle the ball in thefield of play.

Football is played at a professional level all over the world and millions of people regularly go to a football stadium to follow their home team, whilst millions more avidly watch the game on television.A very large number of people also play football at an amateur level.

According to a survey conducted by Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's governing body, published in the spring of 2001, over 240 million people regularly play football in more than200 countries in every part of the world. Its simple rules and minimal equipment requirements have no doubt aided its spread andgrowth in popularity. In many parts of the world — particularly in Europe, Latin America, and increasingly in Africa — football evokes great passions and plays an important role in the life of individual fans, localcommunities, and even nations.

    2) " Tickets" -- As it applies to Soccer Tickets

Ticket can mean one of several things:

    Contents 1 Permission 2 Receipt 3 Notification 4 Elections 5 Computer Security

    Permission

A ticket is a voucher to indicatethat one has paid for admission to a theatre, movie theater, amusement park, zoo, museum, concert, or other attraction, or permission to travel on an airplane, public transit, boat trip, etc.

Paper is generally used, although plastic may be used instead. Some have a barcode or magnetic stripe for keeping simple data stored on them.

Counterfeit iTckets are a problem at high-priced concerts and otherevents, so holograms are used on Tickets for the Olympics, Super Bowl, and other high- profile events.

No Tickers are needed in the case of voluntary contributions, e.g. after a street performance ; in fact, a ticket system is often neither practical nor legal in such a case.

    Receipt

A ticket may be a pick-up ticket, for example when retrieving clothing from a dry cleaning shop or an automobile from a repair shop. It is also used in places where peopleare required to "take a number" to queue up, such as in a waiting room or at a customer service desk. Often, this simply has a number printed on it.

    Notification

In (primarily US ) law, aticket is a notification that one has committed a minor legal infraction, for which a fine must be paid, and/or an appearance in court must be made ( See: summons ).Typically this means a parking ticket for parking in an unlawful manner orallowing a parking meter to expire, or a ticket for a moving violation such as speeding.

A ticket trap is where police deliberately set up in a place where motorists are likely to break the law, even if just on a technicality. This may include places where the speedlimit is ...
