THE WALLFLOWERS

(click CD to purchase)
"Breach" (Interscope)

RATINGS (1-5) Weakest To Strong (+Push,-Pull)

1. Letters From The Wasteland"(2) Don't know why this charted so high. Not a Standout.
2. Hand Me Down (3+) Some promise- nice backing vocal. Probable 3rd single.
3. Sleepwalker (4-) Better than"Letters".Very pop-ish Made for radio.
4. I've Been Delivered (3) Melodic w/droning keyboard.
5. Witness (2) Not much there.
6. Some Flowers Bloom Dead(3+) Possible standout and solid hook
7. Mourning Train (4-) Acoustic w/backing clapping. Great song but may not chart.
8. Up From Under (2) Another acoustical piece. Nice orchestral accompanyment.
9. Murder 101 (3) Best percussion. Upbeat. "Radio-made"-Could chart.
10.Birdcage (2) Two songs in one. The latter being better.

OVERALL COMMENTS: Sounds like Michael Penn production w/the guitar layering. Not a strong followup album in tune of songwriting.
