"I'm Already There"
(Arista Records)

RATINGS are 1 (Weakest) to 5 (Strongest) (+ Push, - Pull)

1. "OUT GO THE LIGHTS" (2+) "Rockin'theme" I like the background
organ. More Rock than Country.

2. "UNUSUALLY UNUSUAL" (3+) More in Country than the intro song.
The banjo's a nice add. (catchy).

3. "NOT A DAY GOES BY" (3) The first ballad from this offering. A
beautiful melody with a nice orchestral accompaniment.

4. "I WANT TO BE THE ONE" (3-) Reminds me of Poco(backing vocals).
Mesmerizing chorus line.

5. "WITH ME" (3) Bluegrass bent with heavy production may get radio
play due to its uptempo style.

6. "WITHOUT YOU" (4+) Great background percussion mystical bridge
effect. The hooks jumps out at you. My favorite.

7. "I'M ALREADY THERE" (4) The single. A song lamenting of life on the
road. Made for the airwaves.

8. "LET'S BRING IT BACK" (2-) "E.L.O" beginning. Jeff Lynne would be
proud.

9. "MUST BE LOVE" (2+) Same guitar of "Out Go The Lights". The
bridge brings your attention back. The fiddle kicks !

10. "SOFTLY" (4) I like the piano out front (they should use it more).
Has a "Toto" feel. My second favorite song.

11. "EVERY LITTLE THING SHE DOES" (3-) Honky-tonk at its best.
Reminds me of newer "Little Feat".

12. "LIKE A GOOD COWBOY" (2) A volume-up song. The fiddle keeps it
alive.

OVERALL COMMENTS: This album has some good songs interspersed
with some predictable ones. I like to hear more piano. (See Track 10).
OVERALL RATING: 2+
